BANKE: Police arrested two persons with arm among the group of looters in Banke district.
Jit Bahadur Yadav‚ of Kohalpur VDC-9 and Khada Nanda Neupane of Ward No. 3 of the same VDC‚ were held for their involvement in loot.
It has been claimed that they looted Rs. 15‚000 from local businessmen‚ Durga Lal Shrestha‚ taking him under their control during the load shedding hour last night.
Police seized two pistols‚ bullets and pamphlets in the name of Defence Army‚ an underground outfit in terai‚ from them‚ said Deputy Police Superintendent Binod Ghimire. He said police search has been intensified to find the absconding looters.
Meanwhile‚ police found a modern pistol in the stranded condition near from local Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School today.
