MSSC offers relief to blast victims' kin

JANAKPURDHAM: Mithila State Struggle Committee (MSSC) today distributed relief to the kin of the deceased of Janakpur blast.
The committee provided Rs 5,100 to each of the family of the blast victims – Dipendra Das, Jhagaru Das, Suresh Upadhyaya, Bimal Sharan Das and Ranju Jha – as the funeral rites expenses.
Earlier, the committee had organised a condolence meeting at the explosion site in Ramananda Chowk. It had also taken out a torch rally in Janakpur today.
Meanwhile, normal life was affected due to the bandh called for the establishment of the Mithila state.
Following the explosion in Janakpur, the MSSC seeking a separate Mithila state had called an indefinite bandh from April 30. The bandh had been lifted for a day on May 4 to allow the Sadbhavana conference.
