LONDON: Madonna has revealed her desire of collaborating with Adele for future projects.

The Material Girl is a big fan of Adele and had planned to have her join the impressive line-up at the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Nicki Minaj, MIA and Cee Lo Green.

On being asked on a TV show if she would work with the Rolling in the Deep singer she replied in the affirmative.

“Yes, I would love to. I would love to meet her, I think she’s brilliant, I love her,” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling ITV1’s Daybreak and Lorraine.

“I wanted her to be in the Super Bowl with me, but I think she was having her throat problem or throat operation or something.”

The 53-year-old hinted that a stage performance between the pair could still happen at Hyde Park this summer where she is set to play a one off date.

The Queen of pop had defended the sensational singer when legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld had dubbed her ‘a little too fat’, last month. 

Bare-chest pix upsets RPattz

WASHINGTON: Robert Pattinson is reportedly so ‘insecure’ about his chest that he got ‘upset’ when pictures of him paddle-boarding without a shirt hit the newspapers.

The 25-year-old Twilight star apparently hates his upper half so much that he got deeply “upset” when pictures of him paddle-boarding with his bare chest in Malibu hit the media.

“He’s really insecure about his shirt being off,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

The actor is believed to have taken up the sport after being urged by girlfriend Kristen Stewart to lose a few pounds.

“Robert’s put on nearly 10 pounds eating cheeseburgers and drinking beer while he’s not been working,” a source said.

“Kristen’s told him to pull himself together. He hates the gym, so she’s encouraged him to take up paddle surfing to try and work off the excess calories,” the source added. 

Proposal brought tears to Jolie’s eyes

NEW YORK: Angelina Jolie shed a few tears of happiness when Brad Pitt finally popped the question after seven years together, a source has revealed.

According to the source, there was a big family hug when Angie put on the engagement ring.

“Angelina cried and smiled,” the New York Daily News quoted the source as telling Us Weekly.

Pitt reportedly rounded up the couple’s six children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox, and presented the 36-year-old with the bauble, which he spent nearly one year designing with jeweller Robert Procop.

The source said the children, who have reportedly been after their parents to finally tie the knot, were extremely happy as well.

“Everyone hugged once she put the ring on. She went around and showed it to each of the kids,” the source said.

Jolie first debuted her diamond stunner during a private viewing trip to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art last on April 11, quietly flashing the bling as she made her rounds throughout the museum’s vast showrooms.

The Hollywood A-list couple have been together since 2005, shortly after co-starring in the action-thriller Mr and Mrs Smith, amid controversy that they were seeing each other while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston.
