Madhesi organisation flays Janakpur explosion

KATHMANDU: The Loktantrik Madhesi Sangathan (LMS) has condemned the incident of bomb explosion in a peaceful sit-in at Ramananda Chowk in Janakpur on April 24.
Four people were killed and scores of others were injured in the incident occurred in a sit-in calling for formation of a Mithila state.
LMS flayed the incident, terming it as a criminal conspiracy against the constitution and federalism. It paid tributes to the people killed in the incident and also expressed sympathies to the bereaved families.
The Sangathan has called on the government for a thorough investigation into the incident and taking stern action against the perpetrators. It also demanded that the incident victims be declared martyrs and their families given compensation.
