Mahabir Club's dying min goal restrict Kathmandu Club



KATHMANDU: Mahabir Club defeated Kathmandu Club 2-1 in the match of the Martyrs Memorial Red Bull ‘B’ Division League on Saturday.

The match played at ANFA Technical Centre, Chyasal, the dying minute goal secured the well deserved win for Mahabir Club.

In the very competitive match, Mahabir opened the goal account in the 43rd minute with Amir Sunuwar’s goal.

Kathmandu Club counter attacked a minute later after receiving the goal to equalize the score. It was Laxmi Narayan whose foot did the trick in the 44th minute.

It was a disaster for Mahabir Club to receive a goal at the time when they were not finished celebrating the earlier goal.

There were chances created by both the team in the remaining time of play. Finally, Mahabir Club were able to net the one in the 86th minute to chinch the match.

The man behind scoring a decider was Bibek Limbu who fetched the well deserved three points for his team.
