DHANGADHI: Sadhbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato on Saturday warned to begin fast-unto-death from Sunday in Capital blaming the government of turning a deaf ear to their demands.
The party has been staging hunger strike in different district demanding immediate declaration of poll date, delineation of electoral constituencies, right to citizenship on the basis of mother’s nationality and Madhesis inclusion in all organs of the state among others.
“I will stage a fast-unto-death soon after reaching Kathmandu, and will bring an end to the cadres’ hunger strike.” leader Mahato said while taking stocks of health condition of his party’s cadres here in the district.
“I will take responsibility of the leaders and party cadres who are staging fast-unto death since six days.”
Party’s central member Phonyram Chaudhary and district Chairman Dhaniram Rana started their fast-unto-death strike in Kailali since May 13.
It is learnt that the health condition of both the cadres who were in fast-unto-death for past 5 days is deteriorating.
Chairman Mahato offered water to both the cadres on the 6th day of the strike.
