KATHMANDU: Two persons have been found dead in separate places in Bhaktapur and Lalitpur.
Police said that security guard at the girls’ hostel of White House College was found dead in his room in the hostel at Khumaltar of Lalitpur on at 8 am Sunday morning.
The 30-year-old hailed from Ramechhap district.
Police suspected that he fell off the bed while sleeping and died.
In an apparent case of suicide, police found the body of 14-year-old Gulchhe Aam Sheikh, a permanent resident of Sarlahi district, handing from the ceiling with a shawl in his rented room Bode of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality in Bhaktapur this afternoon.
The teenager had locked the door from inside before hanging himself. The body was discovered at 12:50 pm, police said.
Police said they are looking into both the cases.
