Maoist CC meet enters day IV

KATHMANDU: The Central Committee members have started commenting on the separate proposals put forth by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Vice Chairman Mohan Baidya as the party’s strategic line on the fourth day of ongoing meeting of UCPN-Maoist on Monday.
The politburo and Standing Committee members finished airing their views today.
Alike the politburo members speaking at the meeting till yesterday, the CC members also stressed on the peace and constitution saying the party should prepare its strategic line concentrating on the ongoing processes.
In his proposal, Dahal has emphasised on the conclusion of peace process and promulgation of new constitution. On the other hand, his political guru Baidya has said that there is no alternative to the people’s revolt.
