Maoist CC meet postponed

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the UCPN -Maoist office bearers held at Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s residence in Naya Bazaar, Kathmandu on Thursday decided to put off the Central Committee (CC) meeting scheduled for Sep.18.
The office bearer's meet decided to prorogue the CC for Sep.30.
"The meeting has been deferred as the party Vice Chairman and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai is visiting to the US to attend the United Nations General Assembly that is scheduled to begin from September 19," Maoist Vice-chairman and Spokesperson for the BBR-led government Narayan Kaji informed .
Through the CC, Maoists shall try hard to settle the intra party rifts, which took the stage following the handover of the keys of the arms container to the Special Committee being objurgated by Baidhya faction.
