KANCHANPUR: Three days after the seizure of a huge cache of hi-tech ammunitions at Sugarkhal VDC on Thursday night, Armed Police Force on Sunday has arrested a former Maoist combatant with six rounds of SLR bullets in Kanchanpur.
The arrested has been identified as Binod Nepali, former Maoist fighter who had opted for voluntary retirement from Seventh Maoist Division based in Talband. Nepali had been detained in an inebriated condition with 6 rounds of SLR bullets concealed in a bag from a local hooch outlet in Krishnapur VDC of Kanchanpur today, said SP Dilip Chaudhary.
Arrested Nepali has been handed over to Nepal Police.
District Police Office, Kanchanpur is carrying out a further investigation into the incident.

These are small little events but of grave concerns.PLA fighters have left camps but with resevations as they found that the cause for which they fought have not been achieved.It was not the revolution by one or two people. This fact should be borne in mind. gaunle, xxx
