SUNDARIJAL: Nepali Congress leader Dr Ram Sharan Mahat on Saturday said the country has fallen into crisis due to dual character of the Maoist leaders.
Speaking at a sapling plantation programme in local Taulung forest, he accused the Maoist leaders, who often promised to transfer the country like Singapore and Switzerland, of making the country almost bankrupt.
He claimed, "Republic was established in the country on the basis of the late BP Koirala's nationality, Loktantra and socialism."
Likewise, another NC central leader Gagan Thapa committed to promulgating the democratic constitution despite the NC has less number of lawmakers.
On the occasion, over 1,000 saplings of Saal, Salla, Dhupi, Kapur and Rudrakshya were planted.
