KATHMANDU: Ministry of Education and Energy Posta Bahadur Bogati has said that amended bill of Education Act, which was returned by the Legislature-Parliament, will be presented again with consensus.
Giving directions to the officials, after installation as the Education Minister at the Ministry at Keshar Mahal, on Friday, Minister Bogati said the Education Act will be amended with new consensus among concerned bodies.
The Act is going to be amended for the ninth time for resolving the problems of the temporary teachers and to amend the structure of the school under the school sector reform programme.
Similarly, Minister Bogati assured that technical and vocational education policy will be passed by the cabinet at the earliest.
Minister Bogati also requested to complete the works in education sector through collective initiative as people want rapid change in the transitional period.
Education Secretary Shankar Prasad Pandey apprised Minister Bogati about the activities of the ministry.
