Minister Tripathi said that it was sure that this government would bring the budget on consensus.

KATHMANDU: Minister for Physical Planning, Works and Transport Management, Hridayesh Tripathi, has said that a complete budget would be brought.

At a programme organised here today, Minister Tripathi said that it was sure that this government would bring the budget on consensus.


He further said that there would be a long-term effect in the country as the amount provided by donor agencies, World Bank and Asian Development Bank for development works would not be spent and will affect the grant and loan agreements reached for development works if a complete budget was not brought.


Mentioning that consensus was sought in a package on disputed issues of the constitution including federalism and government, leader of Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party, Tripathi expressed the view that there were only two alternatives- one fresh elections and another- reinstatement of the Constituent Assembly (CA).
