MEGAN TITELY
I had heard delicious rumours of a mo:mo festival for a few weeks and was over the moon when I caught sight of a poster advertising it on the coming weekend. A motley group of friends collected together on that sacred eve and made our way into the centre of town...There is a small ex-pat community, a small outgoing Nepali community and a relatively small selection of events to attend. As it is at these things you lose the friends you arrive with and wander around with friends you find already there. I discovered a friend, Maddie...We raced around all of the mo:mo tents convinced we needed to catch up with all the tasting. I have no idea how many mo:mos I managed to consume that day. All I know is that looking back at all the photos, my cheeks look distinctly chubbier than what is normal or natural. I feel I must rate the mo:mos in order of tastiest. 3rd, comes, the carrot mo:mos, 2nd, comes the apple mo:mos and 1st come the Thai mo:mos. I loved every moment of my mass mo:mo eating.—megantitley.blogspot.com
