Mohan Baidhya calls on prez Yadav

KATHMANDU: The chairman of the newly formed Nepal Communist Party- Maoist, Mohan Baidhya is holding discussion with President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Sunday morning.
This is Baidhya’s first visit to Sheetal Niwas as the chairman of the new party.
It has been learnt that Baidya has reached the president’s office in Maharajgunj to discuss about the existing political crisis and the constitutional hurdles in the wake of the dissolution of the CA on May 27 by the incumbent Maoist-led government.
Baidhya used to be one of the vice-chairmen of the UCPN-Maoist until he broke away from the party and announced the formation of a new party last week alleging the mother party as neo-revisionist and reactionary.
Baidhya's party has claimed that its main objective is to instate ‘people’s republic’ through a revolt.

Mohan Baidhya is again racing around looking to blow his hot air breath to whomever will listen to him. This time it is NC party hack Yadav. In reality he is asking Yadav for what kind of favor he can do for the NC to bring down the current government. Hopefully, in exchange, he can get some kind of favorable post in the new government in the future. One has to wonder how long the rest of his political party will follow him when they finally realize he is on a one man crusade of the moment to bring down PM Bhattrai? The vanity of this one man is enormous. He would tear apart the hard work and sacrifice of thousands of his countrymen for his glory and benefit. This is so obvious as it is tragic!
