KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation has got its aeroplane landing gear back on Thursday.
The two wheels worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were lost from the 9 NABC plane some five months back.
The wheels were brought by an Air India light and are now kept in the Customs Office at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Executive Chairman of Nepal Airlines Corporation, Manroop Shahi said the landing gear were found at the Immigration Department of the Indira Gandhi International Airport in India and brought by the Indian Airways.
However, no information on who took the wheels and for what purpose has been acquired till date.
The wheels are kept in reserve in every international flight for the emergency use.
After the NAC got its plane wheels back, the NAC is again mulling on what to do to the employees who were meted out punishment on charge of involving in the theft of wheels earlier.
