KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting discussed the secret talks held among the top leaders of main three political parties, power sharing and contemporary politics on Monday.
The meeting decided to keep on party's stand on the implementation of the peace process, constitution-writing and formation of the government. It also drew the conclusion that the party stand in the recent secret talks was telling.
Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Paudel told the media persons that the meeting reviewed the secret talks and party members were informed about it.
Leader Poudel further said his party was of the opinion that peace process could be taken ahead only after serious discussion. However, the UCPN-Maoist showed reluctance to this bid but took the stand that it leads the government.
President Koirala, leaders Paudel and Dr Ram Sharan Mahat and central members expressed their views.

It will be a historical mistake on the part of NC to let maoists to lead the Govt without their being a civilian party. If Poudel withdraws his candidacy, Maoists will go for majority govt and it will be the end of democratic era in the history of Nepal and the sole responsibility in this regard will go to NC. trsharma, kathmandu
