KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party said that it will hold discussion on the issues related to the constitution-in-the-making and state-restructuring at the party’s central office in Sanepa on Sunday, December 18.
In a statement, the NC Parliamentary Office said that the meeting will kick start at 10:30 am Sunday morning, asking all the party lawmakers to compulsorily attend it.
On Monday, the main opposition held a joint meeting of the party lawmakers and senior leaders in Nagarkot in a bid to nail down the party’s official view on several issues of new constitution including state-restructuring, federalism, forms of governance and election system. However, no concrete decision was made.
Three experts-- Dr Surya Lal Amatya, Dr Jagadish Chandra Pokharel and Binod Bhattarai—were also invited to take part in the Nagarkot meeting.
