NC leaders at Koirala's villa over CA term extension

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) is holding internal discussion over the Cabinet decision to extend the Constituent Assembly tenure for three months.
NC president Sushil Koirala has already made his remarks public that his party does not support the Cabinet decision to extend the Constituent Assembly tenure.
Top guns of the NC have reached the residence of party President Sushil Koirala on Wednesday morning to decide on how to move ahead in view of the government proposal to extend CA’s term.
A question is gripping all the NC leaders at the meet: whether NC should be part of the coalition government now? NC has sent two members in the Cabinet led by Krishna Sitaula as Deputy PM.
What comes as a shock to NC leaders is that Sitaula himself had signed the bill registered by government to extend the CA’s tenure.
