KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress on Monday has put off its general committee meeting for late November.
Issuing a press statement today, NC has deferred the general committee meeting for late November. It had been slated for October 10-13 in Janakpur by a Central Working Committee meeting held in the party headquarters in Sanepa on August 15.
Likewise, as stated in the meeting, the party will also hold a tea party ceremony at the central party office in Sanepa on October 29 as a continuation to the greetings exchange tradition established by great leader late BP Koirala in 2033 BS.
The party has decided to commemorate anniversary of supreme leader late Ganesh Man Singh with much gust in the Capital on November 9.
