KATHMANDU: Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has organised a two-day national gathering, starting from Wednesday.
The national gathering has been convened at S. R Catering in Chabahil as a part of NEFIN’s political campaign for the sake of federal constitution based on ethnic identity.
Chairman of NEFIN Raj Kumar Lekhi said the conference which is aimed at forging a common understanding over the present political context and discuss the future strategies to ensure the ethnic federal identity, will also see the paper presentation by Dr. Chaitanya Subba and Dr. Krishna B. Bhattachan.
Members aligned to the 56 central organizations of Indigenous Nationalities, ex-ethnic Constituent Assembly members, ethnic leaders of different political parties, ethnic experts have thronged the conference hall.
