KATHMANDU: Ncell and The Last Resort won their respective matches of the Magic Moments Corporate Futsal that began here on Sunday. Ncell defeated The Last Resort 4-3 before the latter went on to crush Civil Bank 7-1. In another match, Butwal Power Company held Bipasana International to a 3-3 draw. Grand Bank and NIBL earned walkover win from Nabil Invest, while Janata Bank also won their match against Republic Media following the latter’s withdrawal.

LALITPUR: Little Angels’ (LA) School is organising the sixth LA/JTI Inter-school Junior Open Tennis Championships here from August 27. The six-day event will feature boys and girls singles in U-9, U-10, U-12, U-15 and U-16 singles. The U-14 category will also feature doubles events in both sections. More than 300 players will compete for 14 gold medals, informed LA tennis coach Rameshwor Thapa here on Sunday. The matches will be played jointly at the LA School premises in Hattiban and Tennis Complex in Satdobato. —
