KATHMANDU: Nepal posted a target of 241 runs against Denmark in the fifth and final league match of the ICC WCL Division-IV at the Kinrara Academy Oval in Kuala Lumpur, on Sunday.

Nepal made 240 runs losing all wickets to the bowlers of Denmark in 50 overs.

A K Mandal secured 113 runs, S Vesawkar bagged 27 runs, G Malla made 26 runs, B Regmi scored 21 runs, p Khadka made 3 runs, P Airee pocketed 11 runs, P Baskota made 7 runs, BK Das racked up 15 runs, S P Gauchan secured 5 runs, S Regmi hit 4 runs. Similarly, 8 runs were added by extras.

Now, Denmark are all set to bat against Nepal. Denmark team includes: CR Pedersen, Shehzad Ahmed, A Lambert, Rizwan Mahmood, MR Pedersen, Aftab Ahmed, Bashir Shah, AB Chawla, L Slebsager, Taha Ahmed, HAM Shah

The only unbeaten team with four successive victories, Nepal are at the top of the six-team standing with eight points, while Denmark have six points.

Denmark is playing against Nepal for the first time in a 50-over match.

Earlier this year, Nepal had registered a comfortable nine-wicket victory against Denmark when the two teams met in ICC World T20 Qualifiers at the Global Cricket Academy. To recall, Shakti Gauchan had picked up four wickets that included a hat-trick.
