Nepal to face Bangladesh not today due to slippery pitch

KATHMANDU: The international friendly match between Nepal and Bangladesh which was scheduled for today has been canceled.
The match is called off after coaches of the participating teams of the Ncell Cup Football Tournament complained of the slippery pitch at the Dasharath Stadium caused by the incessant rain.
Earlier yesterday coaches had said that they would decide whether to go ahead with the friendly match or not after assessing the pitch condition.
Though postponed today, match between Nepal and Bangladesh will be the 14th encounter between the two teams with Bangladesh getting upper hand .
Bangladesh have registered nine victories, while Nepal have beaten them on four occasions.
