KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun has said that preparations were underway to bring the new budget for current fiscal year based on consensus among the major political parties.
“The political parties should form common minimum programmes on economic agenda” said the finance minister speaking at a seminar on revenue organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) in the capital on Monday.
FM Pun said that the government was working on ways to boost the morale of the private sector and added that the private sector would be treated as per the three-pillar policy.
He claimed that economic indexes are in positive direction. "Indexes of economy have not gone bad despite political uncertainty", FM Pun added.
