KATHMANDU: A day after the catastrophic flash flood which wiped out fifteen people, swept away Seti riverside settlements, and terrorised Kaski denizens, a new tragedy has hit the district today.
Eleven jeep passengers lost their lives in a road mishap at Bhedabari in Dhital VDC of Kaski on Sunday morning.
"Seven died on spot," said District Police Office, Kaski.
Four others died during the course of treatment at Western Regional Hospital and Manipal Hospital.
Among the eleven deceased, nine have been identified as:

The doomed passenger jeep was heading from Lwanghalel to Milanchowk of Hemja jeep (Ga 1 Ja 3248) until it veered off the road, plunged about 300 meters down the road and met the catastrophe at 9: 15 am.
