KATHMANDU: Motif Engineering Pvt Ltd (MEPL), the authorised dealer of Novo7 Tablet for Nepal, has brought three of its models in the domestic market — Advanced II, ELF and Aurora. Novo7 is manufactured by Chinese company Ainol Electronics Co Ltd. Surendra Manandhar, managing director of the company says, “Novo7 targets tech enthusiasts, Android app developers and the young at heart. It also aims to attract customers who do not like to compromise on quality.”
Although the three models were introduced during the Samsung Mobile Expo and International Trade Fair, they are gaining popularity now. The tablets let users adjust between eight different languages — English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Czech, and Chinese. Most popular among the three is Advanced II, which has features such as seven inch screen size, capacitive touch screen, Wi-Fi, video recorder, external storage card, MP3 player, external port, Android market, gravity sensor, 8GB internal memory card, 300 hours standby and six hours of video playing.According to Manandhar, Advanced II, ELF and Aurora are priced at Rs 12,500, Rs 5,000 and Rs 16,000 in the Nepali market. The company also provides a year’s warranty on all its products.
