One dies‚ 3 injured in road mishap

TANAHU: A person died and three others were injured in a road accident at Bhanu VDC in Tanahu district on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Dam Bahadur Gurung, 44, of Bhanu VDC-1.
The accident took place at Bhanu VDC-5 when a car (Ga 1 Cha 3783) heading towards Bhanu VDC from Dumre of Tanahu district met with an accident due to over speed.
According to the Area Police Office, Bhanu, Gurung died on the way to Damauli Hospital for treatment.
Padam Gurung, 41, and Ritu Gurung, 20, of Bhanu VDC-1 and car owner Om Kumar Shrestha of Bandipur VDC-4 were injured in the accident.
Injured Padam and Ritu are undergoing treatment at Sewa Kendra, Pokhara and Shrestha in Chitwan, said police.
