One killed in Nawalparasi

NAWALPARASI: A truck heading to Bhairahawa from Parasi, the district headquarters of Nawalparasi, knocked a girl at Hakai, killing her on the spot.
According to police, the deceased is Dipabati Yadav (20) of Hakai-3. The truck (Na 3 Kha 9978) hit her while she was crossing the road. Police have seized the truck and arrested its driver.
Following the accident, local people took to streets and halted Parasi-Bhairahawa road section.
