KATHMANDU: Australian Parliamentary Secretary for Pacific Islands Affairs and Foreign Affairs Richard Marles is arriving today on a two-day Nepal visit.
Marles will touch down Tribhuvan International Airport at 12 am via Silk Air.
Marles, during his stay will discuss issues of bilateral assistance with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayankaji Shrestha, Minister for Finance Barshaman Pun, among others, said the Foreign Ministry.
It is learnt that Marles will acquire information about the latest political developments of the country and there will be talks about possible areas where Australia could increase its assistance to Nepal.
