PM Bhattarai calls up UML Chair Khanal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Chairman of the CPN-UML Jhala Nath Khanal held a telephone conversation regarding giving e a shape of the national unity government as per Thursday's five-point deal.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Dr. Bhattarai stressed on giving full shape to the government and moving ahead to promulgate the new constitution within May 27.
Dr Bhattarai, who is also the Vice-chairman of the Unified CPN-Maoist, urged Khanal to send the names of UML leaders to represent the government from today itself, adding that delay in government formation would affect the constitution writing process.
However, UML Chairman Khanal informed PM that the ongoing Central Committee of the party would take decisions to this issue.
