The Prime Minister stressed that no one would stop the budget as there would be financial crisis if the budget did not come.

BHAKTAPUR: Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that he would move ahead by forging consensus among political parties.

At an interaction organised by Bhaktapur chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) here today, Prime Minister Bhattarai clarified that he was never an obstacle to consensus.

He said "I will take initiative to move ahead by holding discussions with all political parties as nothing has still gone wrong".

Stating that the government would bring the budget by forging minimum consensus of all political parties, the Prime Minister stressed that no one would stop the budget as there would be financial crisis if the budget did not come.

Bhattarai said that no one would stop to bring the budget as it was a regular process though governments are changed frequently and added that he is fully confident that no one would stop the budget as there would be financial crisis in the country if there was obstacle to bring the budget.

An open message to PM Bhattrai: Please continue your efforts to bring new elections in 120 days for the CA. At the same time bring the budget through minimum consensus and try to bring consensus of the parties for a new ruling coalition without giving in on federalism in the new constitution. If no consensus can be had with old-guard obstructionist parties then build your power base in the new CA. It is time to reach out the hand for final effort with buzzards like Deuba and Nepal. If they want the same old thing and want to keep most of Nepalis buried in poverty and frustration then draw the battle line against them. These people don't even know that Nepal needs more organized, modernized and efficient airport which Nepali contractor has no capacities to do. How much else don't they know about the real world? Build the railroad and streamline the hydro-electric project process. With electricity and a railhead to Indian deepwater ports Nepal will have no limit. Stand tall in the face of nay-saying numb-nuts and you will be Nepal's modern visionary! Suraj Rajbhandhari, Putali Sadak, Kathmandu
