PM informs Prez‚ VP about LDCs meet

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal called on President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at his office in Sheetal Niwas in the Captial on Friday.
According to the President’s Office, Prime Minister Khanal informed President Dr. Yadav about the Fourth UN Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDCs) scheduled for May 8 – 13 in Turkey besides discussing contemporary domestic issues.
Prime Minister Khanal is set to fly to the Turkish capital, Istanbul, this evening to chair the conference.
Likewise, Prime Minister Khanal made a courtesy call to Vice President Paramananda Jha at his office in Bahadur Bhawan to inform him about the UN Conference on LDCs.
