PR sub-committee meet underway

KATHMANDU: While only four days are left to promulgate the new statute, a meeting of the Problem Resolution (PR) sub-committee under the Constitutional Committee (CC) is underway at Singha Durbar on Thursday to resolve contentious issues surfaced in the constitution-drafting process.
The meeting is dwelling over the issue of government’s proposal to extend the tenure of the Constituent Assembly (CA) for three months, and its repercussion.
There are altogether 117 unresolved issues in the new constitution.
