KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Problem Resolution (PR) sub-committee is all set to reconsider suggestions floated by some members of the Constitutional Committee(CC) upon questionnaires on which the CA would vote with the task of settling the disputed constitutional issues.
Today’s meeting of the PR sub-committee will take place in a while, in Singha Durbar.
If all goes well, the sub-committee is expected to send a reframed questionnaire to the CC by Monday afternoon.
The CC is slated to hold a meeting before the meeting of the Constituent Assembly.
During the Sunday’s meeting, wherein PR sub-committee had send 30 of the 117 unresolved issues of the constitution to the CC, some of the CC members not only objected to the phrasing of the questionnaire but also recommended some suggestions and changes to be incorporated in the questionnaires prepared by the four-member task force under the PR sub-committee.
During the Sunday’s meet, the CC members had also asked the sub-committee to be clear on whether to confine the questionnaire to 117 issues or to broaden its framework.
