KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Constitutional Committee (CC) on Monday discussed on the ongoing talks in the dispute resolution sub-committee and the efforts made at the political level to forge a consensus on the contentious issues in the constitution making process.
The leaders, however, sought one more day for intra-party discussion and thereby sit for the constitutional committee meeting.
The CC meeting stressed on the need to continue the deliberations at the political level, and among all parties in the Constituent Assembly to expedite the constitution writing process.
The CC, and the dispute-resolution sub-committee would meet on Wednesday, said CC Chairman Nilambar Acharya, adding that the issues that are not settled by the sub-committee would be listed while the process to endorse the agreed issues would begin in the CC.
