Agitated over the fresh remarks made by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar.

DANG: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar claimed that the new unity government would be constituted under the leadership of that party‚ which would guarantee the identity-based federalism in the new constitution yet to be promulgated.

“Until the identity-based federalism is not guaranteed‚ the incumbent government will not step down‚” stated DPM Gachhadar speaking at an interaction programme organised by Reporter’s Club Nepal Dang Chapter on Thursday.

On the occasion‚ minister Gachhadar however revealed that the much-awaited national consensus government would be formed by October 15.

While Gachhadar was making such remarks in Dang‚ student and youth activists supporting the intact far-west campaign in Dhangadi shut down government offices and all government vehicles plying on roads were halted as Gachhadar on Wednesday had stated to sever Kailali and Kanchanpur from the far-west region while restructuring the state.Protesters have also even warned of stern protests down the road if minister Gachhadar didn’t apologises.
