KATHMANDU: The deadline issued by the commission to probe properties of the leaders for filing complaints against the party leaders ended today.

Some complaints have sought transparency in the financial relationship of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal with Ajay Sumargi and Manoj Bahadur Shrestha. Those who filed complaints against Dahal have also pointed out his involvement in the misuse of parliamentary fund and the funds of the erstwhile People’s Liberation Army.

Complaints have also been filed against leaders Raj Kumar Shrestha and Agni Sapkota, who is now party’s spokesperson. Sources said the complaints had been filed against the role of Nanda Kishor Pun and Mahendra Bahadur Shahi for the misuse of the People’s Liberation Army’s fund not as commanders but as central leaders of the party.

Some complaints have been filed against the controversy over 150 bighas of land situated at Gadhuwal of Bara district in which Prabhu Sah and Bhim Prasad Gautam were involved.
