Police destroy home-made alcohol

PARASI: Police on Wednesday destroyed a huge quantity of illegally-brewed home-made alcohol.
At least 5000 litres of illegal home-made alcohol has been destroyed by the area police office Gaidakot, Nawalparasi.
The illegal alcohol has been destroyed after it was seized from Gaidakot, Makwanpur and various places of Ratanpur village committee, police informed.
The home-made alcohol has been destroyed to make Gaidakot free of illegal alcohol under the illegal alcohol free zone campaign, DSP Dilli Narayan Pandey informed.
Likewise, he informed that preparations are underway to reprimand the shops who are selling the alcohol without permission.
