KATHMANDU: Portugal failed to terminate a series of good chances against Spain on Thursday Nepali time, sending their European Championship quarterfinal match to extra time at 0-0 after 90 minutes.
Portugal dominated throughout but exhibited steadiness of mind under stress.
The two Iberian neighbors are now too scared to lose it.
