KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal and the commanders of the Maoist former combatants have held discussions today.
At the discussions held at party chairman Dahal's residence at Lazimpat, the commanders of the Maoist former combatants briefed him about the progress made in the integration process, said Santosh Paudel, Dahal's Press Coordinator.
In reply, chairman Dahal shared with the commanders that the progress in the integration process has provided crucial support to the constitution writing.
The commanders had criticised the party leadership saying that a majority of the combatants had to opt for voluntary retirement as it failed to take clear stance on the integration process.
Present in the discussions were Chief of the Maoist Combatants Nanda Kishor Pun, spokesman Chandra Prakash Khanal and the commanders of all the seven Maoist People's Liberation Army (PLA) Divisions.
