Prez honours FNJ chair

BARDIBAS: President Dr. Yadav on Friday honored Chairman of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Shiva Gaunle.President Dr Yadav honoured Gaunle for latter's contribution for the development of journalism in the country.
President Dr Yadav arrived here to inaugurate the newly-constructed building of the FNJ, Mahottari chapter.At the programme organised by the FNJ, Mahottari chapter, Gaunle honored former chairman of the FNJ, Harihar Birahi, Taranath Dahal, Suresh Acharya and Dharmendra Jha.Likewise, three journalists based in Mahottari district were provided with Educationist Ram Ekwal Singh Journalism Prize at the presence of President Dr Yadav. Nagendra Kumar Karna, Kamalesh Mandal and Khushbu Jha received the prizes established by Labraja Singh of Jaleshwor in 2066 B.S on memory of his late father Ram Ekwal Singh. The award carries a purse of Rs 5,000 each.
