Speaking on the occasion‚ President Dr Yadav said language art and literature helps identify the nation globally.

KATHMANDU: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav released 'The Lyric Poetry', a compilation of songs by Dr Krishna Hari Baral in the capital on Tuesday.

The compilation includes English translation of 104 representative songs by Dr Baral. The songs have been translated by Swapnil Baral.

Speaking on the occasion, President Dr Yadav said language art and literature helps identify the nation globally.

However, lack of proper management of such possibilities has put them under shadow in Nepal, he said.

Commenting on the publication, singer and media personality Rabin Sharma said Dr Baral's songs in English would help promote Nepal around the globe.
