Protests in Kirtipur against bandh

KIRTIPUR: locals of Kirtipur have protested against the general strike called by Brahmins, Khas, Chhetris and other communities.
The two-day general strike called by Brahmins and Khas, Kshetri communities against single identity-based federalism is ending today.
A large number of locals attended the anti-strike protests after the bandh enforcers encircled the historical city.
The anti-strike protesters chanted slogans for Newa: Autonomous State, federalism with ethnic identity and others and were urging the businesspersons to resume their businesses in the market areas.
