KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has said the government has been creating an investment friendly environment to attract private investment in the physical infrastructures like road network, hydro power, drinking water and telecommunications.

Addressing a programme organised jointly here today on 'private investment in infrastructure' by the Investment Board and World Bank, he said efforts are on to make a more investment friendly environment.


Investment Board Chief Executive Officer Radhes Pant said the Board has brought various programmes for the same. World Bank Transport Expert Farhad Ahmed said there is a need to work with the public-private concept in infrastructure development.
