KATHMANDU: A normal life has been affected in the Capital due to bandh called by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) on Friday.

A dozen of vehicles including an ambulance have been vandalised by the cadres of the party at Maharajgunj and Chabahil areas, said police. Likewise, security personnel have arrested more than 50 cadres including MPs during the bandh Maharajgunj, Chabahil and Baneshwor areas.

Kamal Thapa-led RPP-N has enforced bandh today to pile pressure on the parties to ensure Nepal as Hindu kingdom and not to federate the country on the basis of ethnic identity in the new constitution.
