JUMLA: The people of lower belts of Jumla district have felt a sigh of relief for winter crops due to snowfall coupled with rain.


The production of winter crops is likely to increase this year, thanks to timely rainfall in the district.


Last year, the district witnessed decrease in output of winter crops.


Senior officer at the District Agriculture Development Office, Bed Prasad Chaulagain, said the farmers are hopeful of growing winter crops this year.
