Ratnanagar locals disrupt highway against murder

CHITWAN: Local residents have disrupted the traffic in Ratnanagar of Chitwan district along the East-West Highway to protest the killing of local entrepreneur Bharat Ghimire.
Ghimire, manager of Jagadamba Petrol Pump, was shot dead by a gang of looters early this morning.
The local residents have disrupted the traffic at Bhanuchowk of Ratnagar Municipality demanding to arrest and take action against the guilty.
A large number of passengers have been stranded from early this morning due to the traffic obstruction in Ratnanagar. Police said efforts are underway to resume the transportation.
Ghimire breathed his last on the spot after sustaining bullet injuries in chest and neck. Looters had opened fire on Ghimire after he attempted to retaliate against the goons looted the cash.
