The Committee has stated that rights of any other community would not be snatched

KATHMANDU: The Seti-Mahakali State Committee of the UCPN (Maoist) has urged the government to be conscious of the real demands of the people of the far-west region that were neglected owing to the demand of the undivided Seti-Mahakali.

Organising a press conference here today, Seti-Mahakali In-charge of the UCPN (Maoist), Dharmendra Bastola said people of the region were facing hardships due to the unnecessary strike in the far-west.

Bastola said seven districts of the region should be made Seti-Mahakali Province while Kailali and Kanchanpur should be in the Tharuhat Province as per the party's official concept.

Coordinator of the Committee and UCPN (Maoist)'s lawmaker Naresh Bhandari has urged to maintain ethnic harmony and not to present by distorting the values of federalism.
