Rosario Dawson reveals unstylish past

LONDON: Rosario Dawson is known for her red carpet style and sexy demeanor, reported the Daily Mail on Wednesday.

However the Sin City actress admits it wasn't always this way.

The 33-year-old revealed she used to 'roll into school' in her pyjamas to avoid having to get up too early.

A habit that would eventually get her banned from the local supermarket.

She told Latina magazine: 'I didn't brush my hair; I wore platform flip-flops and Converse because I had a height complex.

'I would roll in wearing my pyjamas, just in the nick of time before class started. And that's still me.'

However, while she may throw on the odd designer frock these days, the stunning actress who is dating Slumdog Millionaire director and Olympic Opening Ceremony supremo Danny Boyle, admits she still finds herself regularly rushing to appointments.

The red carpet regular appears to have at least upgraded in the style stakes.

A source told Mail Online the actress splurged £4,000 in the Regent Street branch of British high street store AllSaints yesterday.

Perhaps she planning a long stay in the UK as her new relationship with Boyle was recently revealed.

Rosario and Boyle, 55, were seen laughing and kissing as they strolled around hand in hand in Brighton.

They met after he cast the actress who found fame in gritty movie Kids, in his latest project Trance.

Miss Dawson, who dated Sex and the City actor Jason Lewis for two years before they split in 2006, also had a plum spot at his widely acclaimed Olympic opening ceremony.

The actress – who is of Puerto Rican, Afro-Cuban, Irish and Native American descent – tweeted a picture of herself in the Olympic stadium, writing: ‘What an amazing honor to witness the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics!!’

She also spoke in the interview about her plans for the future and revealed she will give up acting once she has children.

Rosario said: I won't be able to act anymore. I'll just be focused on trying to make the world a better place for my baby.'

The actress's latest film ‘Fire with Fire’ starring Bruce Willis, Josh Duhamel and 50 Cent is released in the US 31 August.
